What we see

Why Mahindra filters reach the bench

Mahindra is priced in five lines on our card because the filters are genuinely different jobs: an SUV substrate, the larger XUV500 unit, the pickup and small commercial family, and two commercial-vehicle sizes. Find your line in the table rather than taking the first figure you see.

The SUVs split by use. A Thar or Scorpio-N on highway runs usually arrives ash-loaded at high mileage and cleans well. A Bolero or Scorpio in rural or municipal duty, with long idling and short hops, loads with soot much earlier, and on those the filter is often the symptom of a regeneration that never gets the chance to finish. The Bolero Pik-Up and Jeeto fleet vehicles are the same story at higher volume, which is where the fleet rate applies.

Getting the filter to us

You do not bring the Mahindra to Nashik

We clean filters, not vehicles. Your workshop removes the DPF, you send it or bring it, and it goes back with the readings for them to refit. The workshop is in Nashik; filters come in by courier from across Maharashtra.

Questions

Mahindra owners ask

₹7,500 to ₹9,000 per filter before GST, depending on which Mahindra you have: SUVs at ₹8,500, XUV500 at ₹9,000, Pickups & small commercials at ₹8,500, Medium commercials at ₹7,500, Heavy commercials at ₹8,500. These are rate-card prices, not estimates, and they include the flow-bench measurement before and after cleaning and the written readings.

No. We clean the filter, not the vehicle. Any competent workshop can remove the DPF from a Mahindra, and you send or bring us the filter alone. Outside Nashik, courier is how most filters reach us. It comes back cleaned, with the before and after readings, for your workshop to refit.

By a wide margin. A replacement after-treatment unit costs many times the cleaning price, and replacement is only necessary when the substrate is physically cracked, melted or collapsed, which is a small minority of the filters we see. The bench reading before cleaning tells you which case yours is, before you pay for anything.

A replacement DPF is a dealer part and the price depends on the exact model, but for a suv / muv it commonly runs around ₹80,000 to ₹1,80,000. Cleaning the existing filter is ₹7,500 to ₹9,000, and it is the right answer whenever the substrate is intact, which the flow reading on arrival shows before you pay for anything. Replacement is only needed when the ceramic is cracked, melted or collapsed.

4 to 12 hours on the bench, and most filters are returned the same day they arrive. Courier time is additional.
