Four things, and none of them are hidden
Your vehicle
The rate card prices by brand and model: a Dost filter and a haul-truck substrate are different jobs, and the card already knows which is which.
How loaded it is
A filter caught at the warning-light stage cleans faster than one driven in limp mode for months. On plant and industrial filters, where the card carries no line, condition moves the estimate too.
Additional work
Sensors, injectors and turbo checks are priced separately, so you only pay for the investigation the fault actually warrants.
Volume
Fleet rates step down in five bands from three vehicles upward, and apply across the whole roster whatever the mix.
What the calculator cannot know
How much of the restriction is ash rather than soot. That single unknown is the reason the estimate is a range and not a figure, and the reason every job opens with a measurement rather than a quote.
The pricing questions we get most
Passenger cars and SUVs typically start from ₹8,500, light commercial vehicles from ₹12,000, and heavy commercial or off-highway equipment from ₹18,000 depending on filter size and condition. The exact figure depends on the vehicle, the degree of ash loading and whether any upstream faults need correcting. For context, a replacement DPF commonly costs between ₹80,000 and ₹4,00,000: cleaning is usually a small fraction of that. Substantially. Cleaning typically costs between 5% and 15% of a replacement filter. Replacement is genuinely necessary only where the substrate is physically damaged, cracked, melted or collapsed, which is a small minority of the filters we see. Our diagnostic pass establishes which case applies before you commit to anything, and we will tell you plainly if a filter is not worth cleaning.
