We have one workshop, in Nashik, roughly 25 km and about 40 minutes away, and a steady stream of Ozar vehicles and filters comes to it. This page is about why they do, and how to plan the trip so it costs you one day rather than several.
Ozar runs to a shift pattern, and shift patterns produce a very particular filter history. A staff bus does a short run at the start of a shift, sits for eight hours, then does the same short run back. The engine barely reaches operating temperature before it is switched off, regeneration never gets a window, and the vehicle accumulates soot on an entirely predictable schedule while showing no symptoms at all until it goes into limp mode with a full load of passengers aboard.
Under an hour each way. Operators running several vehicles on the same shift pattern usually stagger them across a week rather than lose the whole fleet for a day.

No filter is quoted on sight. It is tested, cleaned if the test says cleaning will help, and tested again, and you get both numbers. When the measurement says the substrate is beyond saving, you are told that instead of being sold a clean that will not hold.
Everything below is served from the one Nashik workshop. The distance is part of the deal, so it is on every page.
Not on the list? The workshop is in Nashik and distance is the only constraint, so ask. Mumbai and Hyderabad are announced but not yet trading.
Tell us the vehicle and the symptoms before you set off. We will tell you whether the trip from Ozar is worth making, including when it is not.
