01These terms
These terms govern your use of dpfmasters.in and the services provided by DPF Masters Pvt Ltd, registered at S. No. 5/1/3, Plot No. 7, Behind Manoj Garage, Khode Nagar, Nashik 422006, Maharashtra, India.
Using this website means you accept them. If we carry out work for you, the written quotation and job authorisation you receive form the specific contract for that work, and take precedence over anything on this page if the two ever conflict.
02Information on this site is indicative
Prices shown on this website — in the quote calculator, on service pages and in the vehicle tables — are indicative starting figures. They are drawn from our real rate card, but they are not offers capable of acceptance.
The binding figure is the written quotation issued after the diagnostic assessment, because the degree of ash loading inside a filter genuinely cannot be established without measuring it. We will not proceed with chargeable work beyond the diagnostic without your authorisation of that figure.
Service durations, turnaround times and intervals quoted on this site are typical rather than guaranteed, and vary with vehicle, filter size, condition and workshop load.
03The diagnostic tools
The symptom checker, quote calculator, compatibility checker and technical assistant are provided free and without obligation, as aids to narrowing a question.
They are not a diagnosis. The symptom checker applies a transparent scoring model to eight answers and says so on the page; the technical assistant retrieves and quotes text we have written and does not generate advice. Neither has measured your vehicle.
Do not rely on any output of these tools as a reason to delay having a vehicle inspected, particularly where a warning lamp is lit or the vehicle has entered a reduced-power mode. Continuing to drive a vehicle with a fault can cause further damage.
04Bookings
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed appointment. A service advisor will contact you to confirm the slot; the appointment exists once we have confirmed it.
We ask that you tell us about known faults, previous work and any modification to the exhaust or engine management system when you book. Work quoted on incomplete information may need to be re-quoted once the vehicle is with us.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, let us know as early as you reasonably can so the slot can go to someone else.
05The work
Every job begins with a diagnostic assessment. If that assessment establishes that cleaning will not resolve your fault — most commonly because the substrate is cracked, melted or has collapsed channels — we will stop and tell you. In that case you pay for the diagnostic and nothing further.
Where an upstream fault is contributing to filter loading, such as an injector, turbocharger or EGR problem, we will identify it and quote separately. Cleaning a filter without addressing such a fault will not give you a lasting result, and we will say so plainly rather than take the work on a false premise.
You receive a written report on handover containing the before-and-after flow and back pressure figures, a photographic record, the root cause identified and the recommended service interval.
06Cleaning warranty
Cleaning work carries a 12-month written warranty on the flow restoration achieved, evidenced by the before-and-after flow bench results supplied with your report. If the cleaning outcome fails to hold, we will re-clean the filter at no charge.
The warranty covers the cleaning outcome itself. It does not cover:
- Subsequent blockage caused by an upstream fault we identified and you chose not to have corrected
- Blockage caused by a fault arising after the work, or by a change in how the vehicle is used
- Damage caused by continued operation of the vehicle after a warning lamp is lit
- Filters whose substrate is subsequently damaged by heat, impact or uncontrolled regeneration
- Work carried out on the after-treatment system by a third party after ours
07What we will not do
We do not remove, delete, hollow out or otherwise disable diesel particulate filters, and we do not remap engine management systems to suppress emission-control functions or their warnings. This applies to every vehicle, without exception, and regardless of what is offered in payment.
Doing so is unlawful under the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, causes the vehicle to fail a Pollution Under Control test, and invalidates both insurance cover and manufacturer warranty. We will decline such requests and will not debate them.
08Liability
We carry out work with the reasonable skill and care expected of a specialist in this field. Where we are liable to you for a failure to do so, our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out on the affected vehicle.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — including loss of revenue, loss of use, downtime, or losses arising from a vehicle being unavailable — except where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
09Fleet and contracted work
Fleet maintenance agreements are governed by the signed contract between us, which sets out scope, intervals, response windows, loan filter allocation, rates and reporting obligations.
Fleet discount bands shown on this website are indicative. Contract pricing reflects duty cycle, filter sizes, service locations and volume commitment, and is set out in the proposal issued to you.
10This website
The content, design, text, illustrations and code of this website belong to us or are used with permission. You may read, print and share it for your own purposes; you may not republish it as your own or use it commercially without our written permission.
We aim to keep the site accurate and available but do not guarantee either. Technical information here is general guidance about diesel after-treatment systems, not advice about your specific vehicle.
Where the site links to third-party services — mapping, messaging or telephony — those services operate under their own terms, not ours.
11Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Nashik, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
If you have a complaint, please raise it with us first at service@dpfmasters.in — most things are resolved faster that way than formally.
