What we see

Why Kia filters reach the bench

Kia is two lines on the card. The Seltos, Sonet, Carens and Syros share a filter price with their Hyundai cousins. The Carnival is a larger vehicle with a larger after-treatment unit and is priced separately; it is also the one most likely to be in chauffeur or fleet use, which means city running and interrupted regenerations.

A Seltos or Sonet that has reached the warning light on short urban trips is the textbook soot-loaded case, and the first honest question is whether a sustained highway run would have cleared it. By the time the light is on and power is down, it usually will not, and a bench clean is the right call.

Getting the filter to us

You do not bring the Kia to Nashik

We clean filters, not vehicles. Your workshop removes the DPF, you send it or bring it, and it goes back with the readings for them to refit. The workshop is in Nashik; filters come in by courier from across Maharashtra.

Questions

Kia owners ask

₹9,000 to ₹15,000 per filter before GST, depending on which Kia you have: Seltos, Sonet, Carens, Syros at ₹9,000, Carnival at ₹15,000. These are rate-card prices, not estimates, and they include the flow-bench measurement before and after cleaning and the written readings.

No. We clean the filter, not the vehicle. Any competent workshop can remove the DPF from a Kia, and you send or bring us the filter alone. Outside Nashik, courier is how most filters reach us. It comes back cleaned, with the before and after readings, for your workshop to refit.

By a wide margin. A replacement after-treatment unit costs many times the cleaning price, and replacement is only necessary when the substrate is physically cracked, melted or collapsed, which is a small minority of the filters we see. The bench reading before cleaning tells you which case yours is, before you pay for anything.

A replacement DPF is a dealer part and the price depends on the exact model, but for a suv / muv it commonly runs around ₹80,000 to ₹1,80,000. Cleaning the existing filter is ₹9,000 to ₹15,000, and it is the right answer whenever the substrate is intact, which the flow reading on arrival shows before you pay for anything. Replacement is only needed when the ceramic is cracked, melted or collapsed.

4 to 8 hours on the bench, and most filters are returned the same day they arrive. Courier time is additional.
