What logistics filters look like when they reach us
High-mileage trucks on sustained highway running arrive ash-loaded and old, and clean well. Distribution and last-mile vehicles arrive soot-loaded and young. A large fleet has both, and the useful output of a cleaning programme is the reading on each filter, which tells the fleet engineer which vehicles are loading early and why.
A partially restricted filter raises back pressure for months before it shows a warning. We measure that restriction on the bench and show it removed; what it was costing on the road is for the operator's own fuel data to say, and we do not claim a figure for it.

Yes, from the duty cycle and then from the readings. A filter that comes back heavily loaded at the first interval gets a shorter one; a filter that comes back light gets a longer one.
