What construction filters look like when they reach us
Excavators, loaders and compactors spend most of their hours idling or at low load, which is the duty cycle a particulate filter was never designed around. Filters block on hours rather than kilometres, and the machine they came off is not going anywhere, so the filter travels alone. That suits the bench: the unit is removed during planned downtime, sent in, cleaned and measured, and back before the next shift that needs it.
Construction filters are among the four categories the rate card does not price, so the figure is indicative until the filter is measured. The before reading decides the quote, and a substrate that is cracked from an overheated regeneration is identified then rather than after cleaning.
